State Sen. Thomas Albert has announced that he will be holding office hours in Ionia and Kent counties on January 12th. This provides an opportunity for residents to meet with the senator and discuss issues related to state government or seek assistance with a state matter.

The office hours will be held at two locations, starting with the Lake Odessa Community Library in Lake Odessa from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The second location will be at Biggby Coffee in Lowell from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. These office hours are open to all district residents, and no appointment is necessary.

According to Sen. Albert, the purpose of these office hours is to address the concerns and issues of his constituents. He stated, "I encourage residents to take advantage of this opportunity to discuss any matters they have regarding state government or to seek assistance with a state issue."

It is important to note that priority will be given to constituents who need to discuss matters that require privacy. Sen. Albert wants to ensure that all residents have the opportunity to voice their concerns in a confidential setting.

Residents who are unable to attend the office hours can still reach out to Sen. Albert's office for assistance. They can contact his Senate office via email at [email protected], or by calling 517-373-1734 or toll-free at 855-347-8018.

In addition to the office hours, Sen. Albert's website, SenatorThomasAlbert.com, provides more information about the senator and his work. Residents are encouraged to visit the website to stay informed about their state government.

Further office hours in other parts of the Senate's 18th District, which includes Barry County and portions of Allegan, Calhoun, Kalamazoo, Kent, and Ionia counties, will be scheduled at a later date.

This is an excellent opportunity for residents to engage with their elected representative and have their voices heard. The office hours provide a platform for open dialogue and a chance for residents to address their concerns directly with Sen. Thomas Albert.
